Pretty nice place to stay for the price. Room was clean. We had to pay a deposit (understandable) of $20.00. I was disappointed that they only changed our towels once in the 3 days we stayed. I figured it is because of COVID, but overall we were satisfied.
My stay at the Knights Inn in Brownwood was wonderful. The attendant was very accommodating. It was only me, but she gave me a king bed room. The room was clean, no odors. I was given a room toward the back of the building, which I liked because I can't sleep with the noise from the road. I slept so well. The bed is very comfortable. There is a mini fridge and microwave and a small coffee maker. I would definitely stay here again.
Room 234 Easy check in and no issues. Room was very clean, no bugs. They do have carpet but it was new & clean. Fridge, microwave & super comfy bed. Walls & ceiling were lined with bead board & thick plaster old decor but pretty and .... keep room very insulated. It was a cold weekend and our room stayed nice and cozy & quiet. They have direct tv with Reelz! Now a couple things the bathroom where tub/toilet is, is tight. There are not many plugs. Pillows were flat & only 3 for King sized bed .. who gets the 3rd? For the comfy bed and direct tv ... we will be back in October.
We stayed at Post oak inn about 6 months ago and we had a very good experience there . Room is 70's look bit i was impressed of how clean the room, and bathroom was and the bed sheets too. Normally in every hotel i go i see hairs in the bathroom not here it was very clean and didnt see any hairs anywhere....and im very picky. We're planning on going very soon and im planning on staying there. Staff was very friendly but do ring the bell because sometimes theyre in the back . Other than that very clean and quite area.
Clean, affordable, and has a 70s rustic charm that I appreciate. Conveniently located near a lot of resturaunts and ventures. Its a nice get-away from chain hotels and urban styles.

My dad and I stayed here for one night on 3/3 . It was close to my family, whom I had come to visit. It was clean, check in was easy and I even checked in late (10 ish something). The bed was pretty decent and the water pressure was WAY above expectations. My only complaint was that the bathrooms are tiny, the toilets are wayyy to close to the wall. Granted I am a bit chunky but even for a skinny person I feel like it would still be too close to the wall hahahaha anyways great place to stay for a decent price. You get what you pay for and for $85 you can’t go wrong. Who wants to pay $150+ to sleep and get up and leave? I would stay again. :)
